elsewhere by Kuoni
Travelling to exceptional locations.
«elsewhere by Kuoni» is a quest for unusual locations and the unique and distinctive features of travel destinations. In weekly reports, superb photo series and video clips, the magazine reveals how travel journalists and bloggers, customers and specialists experience cultures, nature and animal life during their travels. Over the years through our own online magazine The Brander we have established an international network of journalists and photographers. Together with them we are supporting Kuoni in the conception and implementation of travel accounts experienced in Egypt, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Cape Town. This editorial content defines the new storytelling approach at Kuoni. Branders supported the travel operators in this new notion of narrative style brand management.
Los Angeles
Inspiration is the starting point of any trip, and is one of several phases of a travel cycle. With «elsewhere», Kuoni is integrating this phase more prominently into its online presence, subtly arousing the feeling of wanderlust among visitors to its website. In Los Angeles, our correspondents Simone Ott and Reto Caduff accompanied two locals.
Egypt
At the heart of this thoroughly modern travel magazine is the perspective of the observer. Through «elsewhere» the authors describe their experiences, allowing readers to share their very personal encounters and adventures. In Egypt, our correspondents Pascal Mora and Amira El Ahl set off on an extensive trip.
Indonesia
With «elsewhere by Kuoni» all travel fans are now being offered online ideas and tips for the inspiration phase. In Indonesia, our correspondent Claudius Wirz hit the road.
South Africa
In South Africa, The Brander correspondent Judith Reker spent a day accompanying a woman surfing instructor and a potter, drank champagne on Table Mountain, and visited a market in Woodstock.
Hong Kong
In Hong Kong, The Brander correspondent Lisa von Ortenberg and photographer Philippe Engelhorn were out and about for «elsewhere». The videos were created in collaboration with Bruce Anderson.
