Bindella
La vita è bella.
A New Brand Experience
Family-run enterprise Bindella from Zurich awarded Branders a long-term and comprehensive brand mandate that includes both the brand strategy and its implementation. The new brand image focuses on Bindella’s historical tradition and long-standing competence relating to all things Italian. The new appearance relates stories about passionate host and art collector Rudi Bindella, looks in on the family-owned wine estate in Tuscany and enthusiastically celebrates the claim «la vita è bella». As a result, the brand’s new vitality can be experienced at all points of contact.
With a Lot of Passion
Way back in 1909, Bindella was established as a dealer of fine wines. These originate from over 600 producers, the majority of which are located in Italy. The Zurich- based family operation enjoys an outstanding reputation both as hosts in their 40 restaurants and for some time now, as wine producers themselves. Now in the third generation, the company has over 1,200 employees and is managed with untiring dedication by Rudi Bindella. The family coat of arms and the strategic utilization of art demonstrate the restaurateur’s observance of family traditions as well as his personal contributions.
«la vita è bella»
In one compact sentence, the claim transmits not only the family firm’s traditional competence in all things Italian, but also Bindella‘s characteristic vitality.
A Personal Note
The copperplate script used for the logo stems from father Rudolf’s handwriting and underlines the family enterprise’s longstanding commitment to tradition.
Italian Vitality
Italian brio shimmers throughout the new brand image. The seal stands for longstanding tradition and Bindella’s commitment to the highest standards of quality.
The Bindella brand vitality must be evident at every point of contact. From delivery vans to wine catalogues, the uniforms at the wine fair through to the new online presence. A consistent combination of images, art and typography give the Bindella brand its unique appearance.
Piccolo Paradiso
Owning both a wine dealership and a significant number of restaurants, it was almost inevitable that at some point the Bindella family would become involved in wine production themselves. Coupled with a love and passion for nature, they tend their wine estate «Vallocaia» in Tuscany with enormous enthusiasm and dedication. With this in mind, Branders also developed a new appearance for all the in-house specialties produced there.
